Gold and silver prices in Pakistan dropped sharply on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. The interbank market showed declines across various weights and purities. Traders noted that market sentiment was cautious amid global fluctuations in precious metals.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24K gold per tola fell to Rs. 514,762, down Rs. 9,000. The 10-gram 24K gold rate declined to Rs. 441,325, down Rs. 7,716. Meanwhile, 10-gram 22K gold fell to Rs. 404,562, down Rs. 7,073.

The international gold price also decreased, standing at $4,920 per ounce, down $90 from the previous trading day. Analysts linked the decline to profit-taking by investors and global market corrections.
